Outstanding Achievement Award from the Canadian Museums Association for the MUMAQ!

It’s with great pride that we receive the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Exhibitions from the Canadian Museum Association (CMA) for our new permanent exhibition, Meaningful Objects: A History of Craft in Quebec.

Presented to us on June 29th, during the online 2022 CMA Awards ceremony, this award recognizes exceptional projects carried out by museums across the country and promotes excellence in the Canadian museum sector.

Our permanent exhibition Meaningful Objects: A History of Craft in Quebec is the only one of its kind in Canada: inaugurated in the height of the pandemic, it embodies the interdisciplinary nature of arts and crafts, where textile, ceramic, furniture, blown glass, and so much more come together to shape the timeless.
