From February 24 to September 3, 2023, the temporary exhibition: Lyse Charland Favretti invites you to discover the rich career of a Quebec visual artist who has worked in stained glass from the 1970s to the present day.
In this retrospective, you will wander through the four historical periods that have marked her work: from her years of training at the École des Beaux-arts de Montréal then at the Université du Québec à Montréal to her apprenticeship and her work at the glass workshop of the famous master glassmaker Pierre Osterrath, her large-scale glass projects as well as her current artistic production.
A technical section will offer you an immersion in the artist's studio and reveals various processes for making a glass roof as well as the complexity of its integration into architecture, such as the works designed for the Montreal metro.
