MUSI
The MUMAQ, with its rich collections and architecture, is reviving the melodies that have enchanted so many audiences in the past.
The MUSI benefit concert series is an immersive experience: intimate concerts that create a fluid fusion between art, artist and audience. Come and experience unforgettable moments in an exceptional space close to the artists. Our monthly concerts offer a varied program featuring local artists of international stature.

An unparalleled acoustic experience
Drawing on its rich musical heritage, MUMAQ aims to bring music back to life within its walls. Over the years, since its reconstruction, this space had never ceased to inspire admiration for its surprising acoustics, resulting from the subtleties of its interior architecture. This reputation has attracted some of the world’s greatest names, to name but one: pianist and conductor Wilfrid Pelletier. In June 1936, in this same building, formerly the chapel of the Holy Cross Fathers, he launched the Festivals de Montréal series. He conducted the inaugural event with a monumental work: J. S. Bach’s St. Matthew Passion.
